As of March 7th, Iran has confirmed almost 6,000 coronavirus infections and 145 deaths as the number of cases worldwide passed 100,000, officials say. As one of the hardest-hit countries in the Middle East, COVID 19 is posing a whole new set of challenges for the Iranian State, already battled by existing difficulties of state legitimacy, US sanctions and development.
On this webinar with Dr Alam Saleh on 'Iran: Coronavirus, Internal Security and State Legitimacy', you will be able to have your most pressing and intriguing questions on the latest developments and impacts of COVID 19 on Iran answered. Through the Ask Me Anything (AMA) format, you will be able to pose your questions prior through our form, which will later be posed to Dr Alam Saleh over Zoom video. No question is out of bounds. However, the most pressing and interesting questions are more likely to be curated and featured given the interest of time.
